On March 18th, 2013, the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, organized the special lectures on Science in |
Sufficient Economy Theory: Impacts on Agriculture, Food Security and Environment, as a part of series activities |
of the Overseas Internship Course @ MUSC-2013. In honouring His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej for |
his compassion, knowledge, and dedication to helping Thai people, the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University |
would like to honour HMK’s principle of “Self Sufficiency Economy Philosophy” in science by organizing a series |
of lectures by distinguished invited speakers that have well recognized both at nationally and international levels. |
These special lectures provide the scientific point of view for the successful researches that well applied |
Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, especially in the field of Agriculture, Food Security and Environment. This |
event aimed to inspire the participants’ visions and understandings about the capacity of science in combination |
with self sufficient economy theory that can be properly and efficiently implemented for community improvement. |
The lectures were interested by both the Overseas and Thai students, including MU academic staffs. |
